About institute
For the promotion, popularization and development of any kind of sport in the world, the demand for specialists, having good knowledge, skills, qualification and experience in this sport is high.
The International Kurash Institute was founded on December 4, 2000 with the participation of 12 National Kurash Federations.
On April 28, 2001 the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued a state registration number 470.
Master classes organized by the institute serve to further popularize kurash, train and improve the qualifications of specialists who meet modern requirements.
During its activity, the Institute has organized more than 80 different training courses, trainings, seminars for the preparation of referees and coaches, published many educational videos and visual aids on kurash.
Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to develop the International sport Kurash” dated October 2, 2017 and “On measures to develop the International sport Kurash and develop its international authority” dated November 4, 2020, as well as by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the comprehensive program of measures for the further development and promotion of the national sport "Kurash" dated November 7, 2017, the chairman's work was held to organize cooperation for scientific research and advanced training of kurash specialists.
During 2017-2020, the institute organized 5 14-day referee and coaching training courses. It was attended by experts from about 30 national federations that are members of the International Kurash Association.
Also, in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, seminars were organized by the national federations of Italy, Azerbaijan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Iran, Russia and other countries.

Our mission
* Training of highly qualified personnel in kurash for the national federations of the IKA;
* Retraining of judges and coaches in kurash;
* Organization of training sessions for kurash players of national federations;
* Improve the qualifications of kurash specialists;
* Mutual coordination between the Institute and its branches;
* Organization of the educational process and scientific and methodological guidance;
* Support for the training of scientific and methodological personnel, including experienced instructors;
* Organization and holding of scientific and practical seminars, international scientific conferences and councils;
* Carrying out research and experimental work;
* Creation of teaching aids, literature, electronic textbooks on the theory and practice of kurash;
