World-class Kurash specialists in Tashkent
The final practical stage of the International Kurash Institute’s three-month online course has begun, bringing together world-class Kurash specialists in Tashkent.
On October 24, 2025, at the Kurash Complex of Tashkent State Transport University, the International Kurash Institute, in cooperation with the International Kurash Association (IKA), launched the final practical phase of its three-month online course. This intensive training marks a new milestone in preparing highly qualified specialists for the global development and promotion of Kurash.
At the official opening ceremony of the practical stage, notable guests included IKA President Komiljon Ruziev, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, IKA Secretary General Mohammad Reza Nassiri, IKA Administration Head Mansur Mirzaev, and Vice-Rector of Tashkent State Transport University Said Shoumarov. Also in attendance were the Institute’s faculty members and foreign Kurash experts — IKA Technical Director Ali Shaherkani, Mohammadvahid Pouresfandiar — along with nearly 30 course participants from around 15 foreign countries.
The main goal of this event is to train international-level coaches and referees, and to provide education based on unified international Kurash standards.
During the week-long intensive practical training, participants will gain knowledge and skills in refereeing and in all technical aspects of Kurash methods, as well as effective training methodologies taught by experts from the International Kurash Institute.
This final practical stage offers active and ambitious participants — who previously acquired theoretical knowledge during the online course — the opportunity to test and elevate their professional skills in real-world practice.
