The Third Session of the Online “A” License Accreditation Coaching Course Held via Zoom
The third session of the online coaching course for the “A” Licence, organised by the International Kurash Institute, was held via the Zoom platform.
The session commenced with a lecture delivered by Mr. Reza Nassiri, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association (IKA) and Head of the Scientific Department of the Institute. The lecture focused on the topic “Organisation of Modern Kurash Competitions,” providing a comprehensive overview of key aspects of competition management. These included athlete weigh-in procedures, thorough preparation for competitions, as well as etiquette, discipline and regulations governing conduct around the competition gilam.
The next part of the programme was dedicated to the topic “The History and Modern development of Kurash.” The lecture was delivered by Umid Yakubov, Adviser to the Acting President of the International Kurash Association. He provided participants with valuable insights into the key stages of Kurash’s development and its significance in the modern sporting world.
Following the theoretical sessions, the programme continued with practical training. Under the guidance of the Institute’s Kurash experts, Shukhrat Kurbonov and Olim Ravshanov, the technical rules and techniques of the “Bardor” and “Cheel” groups of Kurash techniques were demonstrated through practical exercises. Participants also received detailed answers to their questions regarding the correct execution of these techniques and their practical application.
The course continues, further strengthening participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical coaching skills in Kurash.
