The Final Stage of the Course and the “Kurash Today” Journal Discussed at the IKI
On the eve of the final and most responsible stage of the three-month online course, an important meeting was held at the International Kurash Institute.
As previously reported, the intensive practical week and final examinations for Group 4 of the three-month online course in Kurash specialization are approaching. In this regard, yesterday an expanded meeting took place at the new building of the International Kurash Institute located in Tashkent’s Olympic City.
The meeting was chaired by the Institute’s Rector, Khabibulla Tadjiev, and attended by all senior staff members, professors, and teachers of the Institute, as well as Reza Nassiri, Secretary-General of the International Kurash Association, and Mansur Mirzaev, Head of the Administration of the International Kurash Association.
The main agenda included discussions on preparations for the upcoming final practical stage, which will be held in Tashkent from October 23 to 29. The topics covered organizational matters, theoretical and practical sessions, logistics, and safety measures.
It was emphasized that more than 40 future Kurash specialists from over 15 countries—including Iran, Afghanistan, India, Malaysia, South Africa, and Egypt—are expected to participate in this final practical stage at the Kurash Homeland’s capital city.
The examination process will be evaluated by a panel of experienced experts from the International Kurash Association and the International Kurash Institute.
The meeting also reviewed issues related to confirming the editorial board members of the upcoming “Kurash Today” scientific-practical journal, noting that the publication will play a significant role in developing the scientific and methodological foundations of the sport of Kurash.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all discussed matters were formalized into specific decisions, and responsible individuals were assigned concrete tasks. Necessary measures were determined to ensure the final stage of the course is conducted in accordance with international standards.
