Masterclasses for Japanese Kurash Players Continue in Full Swing
In the historic homeland of Kurash, a week-long training camp organized for the Japanese national team is continuing in an enthusiastic atmosphere. Today, August 10, training sessions were once again held under the guidance of the most experienced experts of the International Kurash Institute.
In the first half of the day, Japanese athletes participated in practical training on Kurash techniques. Coaches thoroughly explained the technical rules of Kurash, effective tactics, and important aspects of using strength. During these sessions, the athletes further honed their skills and acquired new knowledge.
The second part of the training focused on refereeing rules and evaluation criteria. This masterclass was conducted by Professor Kim Eurjoong, Head of the Training Department of the International Kurash Institute and an experienced international referee. He demonstrated to the Japanese specialists and athletes all the nuances of refereeing — awarding points, applying penalties, and assessing various situations — through both theoretical explanations and practical examples. This not only strengthened their skills as athletes but also expanded their knowledge in the field of refereeing.
The Japanese colleagues emphasized that the deep knowledge and skills they are gaining during these sessions are of great importance for the development of this sport in their country.
