Final stage of the course concludes in Tashkent
In Tashkent, on October 29 – The final practical stage of the three-month online course, organized by the International Kurash Institute (IKI) in collaboration with the International Kurash Association (IKA) and the Tashkent State Transport University (TSTU), has successfully concluded. Following a week of intensive training, approximately 25 prospective experts from more than 10 foreign countries tested their knowledge and skills.
Throughout the course, participants underwent comprehensive training aimed at preparing them to be well-rounded specialists for the international Kurash arena.
Under the guidance of International Kurash Institute experts: Muhammad Vohid Poresfandiyar, Ajmal Iskhak Zai, Rizomat Soliev, Nuriddin Chorshamiev, Feruz Bobomurodov, and Shuhrat Qurbonov, participants thoroughly mastered all crucial groups of Kurash Usul (Kurash techniques)
They benefited from engaging lectures on the theory, philosophy, and history of Kurash, delivered by the Institute's professors and instructors.
Led by Professor Tal’at Usmonkhujaev, participants learned about Uzbek national movement games and practically tested the most effective dynamic games for preparing young athletes during Kurash training sessions.
Unified international refereeing rules were reinforced through theoretical and practical examples, along with video analysis, led by IKA Secretary General Rizo Nassiri and International Kurash Institute experts Ali Shaharkani, Kim Eurjung, and Hikmat Qurtov.
Today, the final phase of the course, the testing of the participants' acquired knowledge and skills, took place.
Early in the morning, the course graduates sat theoretical written examinations.
Following this, their practical skills in performing Kurash Usul techniques, coaching, and evaluating competitions were assessed in the university's Kurash Hall.
Certificates Ceremony and Cultural Immersion.
After the examinations, a cultural tour to the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory was organized for the participants. There, they familiarized themselves with historical exhibits related to the glorious victories of Uzbek sports in the Olympic Games and watched a documentary film about the achievements of Uzbek athletes.
Finally, the most solemn and emotional part of the course—the international certificate awarding ceremony—took place. The certificates were ceremonially presented by IKI Rector Habibulla Tadjiev, IKA Secretary General Rizo Nassiri, IKA Administration Head Mansur Mirzaev, and course experts Vahid Poresfandiyar, Ajmal Iskhak Zai, Rizomat Soliev, and other officials.
After getting acquainted with the history of sports, the international experts visited the Kurash Museum located at the headquarters of the International Kurash Association. There, they had the opportunity to view unique historical exhibits documenting the stages of Kurash's development as a global sport.
With this, the final practical stage organized for the 4th group of the three-month online course has concluded. We, in turn, wish all our international experts great success in their Kurash endeavors!
