Another Working Meeting Held at the IKI
Another working meeting was held at the International Kurash Institute, attended by the Institute’s leadership, heads of departments, and responsible staff members. The meeting focused on thorough preparations for the Kurash World Championships and the successful implementation of major educational projects planned for the remainder of the current year.
One of the key items on the agenda was the three-month online training course designed to accredit coaches for the international “A” Licence. The specialists discussed ways to improve the course’s theoretical and practical curricula, ensure the high-quality organisation of its final one-week offline training phase, and strengthen the necessary technical and organisational arrangements. Specific action plans were established to achieve these objectives.
Particular attention was also given to the organisation of international refereeing and coaching seminars scheduled to take place alongside the Kurash World Championships, which will be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, in the coming days. The participants emphasised the importance of conducting these seminars at a high organisational and methodological standard. In addition, relevant officials were assigned tasks related to the preparation of comprehensive reports and supporting materials for the upcoming IKA Congress.
During the discussions, the participants also identified priority tasks aimed at the long-term development of the sport, including the thorough preparation of a unified calendar of international seminars and educational events for 2027. The meeting highlighted the importance of creating broader opportunities and providing the necessary conditions for specialists in the field to enhance their professional knowledge and practical skills.
