A week of intensive practice and the final stage are approaching!
For the 4th group of the three-month online Kurash coaching course, the most important and responsible phase is about to begin.
Launched in August, the course—consisting of learning modules on the education platform and interactive training sessions held every Saturday and Sunday via Zoom—has now reached its conclusion. It is time for the participants to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired over the past three months!
The final practical stage will take place from October 23 to 29 at the Kurash Homeland capital in Tashkent.
More than 40 future Kurash specialists from over 15 countries, including Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Togo, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Bangladesh, Romania, India, South Africa, Cameroon, and Mauritania, are expected to participate.
This intensive week will provide participants with an opportunity to present their theoretical knowledge and practical skills before the Judges’ Council, to enhance their mastery under the guidance of leading experts in the field of Kurash, and to benefit from the valuable lectures of professors and researchers conducting academic studies in this discipline.
The examination phase will be evaluated by a jury composed of some of the most experienced international Kurash specialists:
• Refereeing: IKA Technical Director Ravi Kapoor, KSA Technical Director Ali Shaherkani, IKI Expert Kim Eurjoong, and Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation Referees’ Council Khikmat Kurtov;
• Kurash Techniques and Coaching Practice: IKI Experts Mohammadvahid Pouresfandiar, Ajmal Ishaq Zai, Rizomat Soliev, Nuriddin Chorshamiev, Feruz Bobomuradov, and Shukhrat Qurbanov.
The overall process will be supervised by Reza Nassiri, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association (IKA), and Komil Mukhammadiev, Vice-Rector of the International Kurash Institute (IKI).
This course serves not only as an opportunity for every participant to strengthen their acquired knowledge and fully reveal their potential, but also as a solid foundation for their future careers as professional Kurash coaches and referees.
